AI Shopping Assistant for Women's Fashion

Mirra AI is a free shopping assistant app for women, on Android and iPhone in India and the US. Instead of scrolling through one store after another, you describe what you need in your own words, and Mirra searches women's clothing and footwear across Indian and international brands. Here's how AI shopping works, what an AI shopping assistant can and can't do, and how to shop with AI in Mirra.

What is AI shopping?

AI shopping means finding products by describing what you want, instead of typing a short keyword and clicking through filters. An AI system reads the request, picks out the item, occasion, colour and other details, and returns products that match. In fashion, that turns a loose idea like "something light for a daytime mehendi" into a short list of real pieces to look at.

Shopping with AI doesn't replace your own judgement. It shortens the search, so your time goes into comparing a few promising options rather than hunting for them.

What does an AI shopping assistant do?

An AI shopping assistant is an app you talk to about what you want to buy. It understands a request written as a normal sentence, searches a product catalogue, and shows matching items with their photo, brand and price. Mirra's shopping assistant does this for women's fashion, from ethnic and western wear to footwear.

One request often carries several details at once. "A cotton kurta set in pastel colours for office, not too expensive" names a garment, a fabric, a colour family, an occasion and a budget. An assistant uses all of them together, where a filter panel would make you set each one by hand.

How do you use Mirra to shop?

To shop with Mirra, open the app, go to Chat, switch to Shop and type what you're looking for. Mirra replies with matching products from Indian brands such as BIBA, Libas, Westside, FabAlley and NewMe, and international labels such as ONLY and Vero Moda. Open a product to see it, save it with the heart, or tap Buy to finish on the retailer's own website.

  1. Download Mirra AI from Google Play or the App Store and create an account.
  2. Open Chat and choose Shop.
  3. Describe the item, the occasion and anything you'd like to avoid.
  4. Open the products that look right, or tap See all for more results.
  5. Heart your favourites to find them later, and tap Buy when you're ready.

Prefer to look around first? You can also browse the catalogue by category on the Mirra shop page.

What can you ask?

You can ask Mirra for clothes or footwear the way you'd describe them to a friend: the occasion, colour, fabric, fit or price range. Detailed requests get closer matches than single words, so "black block heels for a reception" works better than "heels". You can keep going in the same chat to narrow the results down.

A few requests to try:

  • "Red kurta for a wedding"
  • "Linen trousers for office in summer"
  • "Comfortable sneakers to wear with kurtis"
  • "A light-coloured sharara set for a sangeet"
  • "A winter jacket that goes with ethnic wear"

How is it different from browsing and filters?

Browsing and filters ask you to turn an idea into a category, a size, a colour checkbox and a price slider, one step at a time. An AI shopping assistant starts from the idea itself and does that translation for you. Mirra also searches many brands in one go, so you don't repeat the same search on separate store apps.

Filters still have their place when you know exactly what you want, such as a particular size from a brand you trust. AI shopping helps most at the beginning, when you know the occasion or the look you're after but not the exact product.

What should you check before you buy?

Before buying something you found with an AI shopping assistant, check the details on the retailer's page: the current price, size chart, fabric, delivery date and return policy. Mirra doesn't sell products itself, so the retailer's website sets the final price, stock and terms. Comparing the size chart with a garment that already fits you well helps you avoid returns.

A quick checklist:

  • Size chart, measured against something you own that fits
  • Fabric and care instructions, especially for festive wear
  • Final price, including any delivery charge
  • Delivery date, if you need it for a particular event
  • Return and exchange window

What doesn't it do?

Mirra doesn't sell, stock or deliver anything, and it doesn't take payments; tapping Buy takes you to the retailer's website. It can't feel fabric or promise a fit, and it searches only the brands in its catalogue, not every shop online. Mirra is built for women's fashion and is available in India and the US.

The app itself is free, with no paid plan and no in-app purchases. You pay only for clothes you choose to buy, on the retailer's site.

Shop for what's actually missing

Shopping is most useful when it fills a real gap. Mirra's AI stylist suggests what to wear for an occasion, and its AI wardrobe app builds outfits from clothes you already own, so you can see what you're missing before you spend.
